Using multiple listening devices at the same time.

Is there a way for 2 people to listen to music, movies, etc on iPad? I have a wired headset & a wireless headset and would like to connect both to the iPad at the same time. Does anyone know if this is possible or do I need to get a splitter and use 2 wired headsets?
