My Macbook won't turn on - even in safe mode.

My Macbook suddenly won't turn on.

I was able to run "Disk Utility" but it said it cannot verify/repair disk.

So I've tried to perform a safe mode but it's not working. The loading bar appears and then suddenly the computer shut down.

Before I tried a safe mode, it was at least starting up but now it's not.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks.

Hi Limnos,

I tried Disk Utility and fsck too, but it said 'the volume macintosh hd could not be verified completely' or 'the volume macintosh HD could not verified completely.' and 'Udating boot support partitions for the volume as requried.;

Error: Disk Utility can't repair this disk.. disk, and restore your backed-up files.

It said I need to back up and restore, but since I can't do safe boot, I don't know how I can back up.

I am not sure where I was booted. How can I find the information?

Thank you very much!
