Jan 16, 2014 7:47 AM in response to caramellatteby Limnos,Resolve startup issues and perform disk maintenance with Disk Utility and fsck (Mac OS X 10.1 - Mac OS X 10.8) - http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1417
When it said it could not repair, were you booted to the rescue partition, or to the main drive (you cannot repair a drive to which you are booted)?

Jan 16, 2014 7:59 AM in response to Limnosby caramellatte,Hi Limnos,
I tried Disk Utility and fsck too, but it said 'the volume macintosh hd could not be verified completely' or 'the volume macintosh HD could not verified completely.' and 'Udating boot support partitions for the volume as requried.;
Error: Disk Utility can't repair this disk.. disk, and restore your backed-up files.
It said I need to back up and restore, but since I can't do safe boot, I don't know how I can back up.
I am not sure where I was booted. How can I find the information?
Thank you very much!
