MIDI player

Will QuickTime play MIDI type 0 and type 1 files?

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

Support for MIDI files has ended in Mavericks. They will not play in a modern browser or in QuickTime 10.3.

But they will still play in QuickTime Player 7 and you can download it from this link:
