Hearing Random Dial Tones During Voice Calls

I have the iPhone 5S on the Sprint network that I purchased in December. While on a call, I am hearing random dial tones as if someone is pressing the key pad. The person that I am speaking with does not hear the sound. It happens very random in terms of frequency and the number of times I hear the dial tone on a call. Also note that I am not accidently pressing the key pad during conversations; this issue happens while using my Apple earbuds as well.

Is there a resolution to this issue? It is quite annoying and disruptive during conversations.

I got a brand new 16GB iPhone 5S mid-December, as did my better half, on our AT&T plan. We *BOTH* hear this random 'beep' during various phone calls, and once or twice, I even heard someone else talking that was not on either end of the phone call. It's almost as if someone is either listening in, or signals are getting seriously crossed over somewhere, but I NEVER had this problem with my older iPhones. Just the 5S. Any updates would be really nice if Apple would be willing to chime in here, considering the research I found has shown that users on Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint are all having the same problems.

So it would seem as if it is an iPhone issue, not a carrier issue. Just my opinion.
