Jan 16, 2014 9:28 AM in response to evo_102by Ralph9430,You have encountered a security feature called Activation Lock. A phone cannot be restored to a new user with the original owner clearing the phone from their account. This prevents stolen or lost phones from being deactivated to a new user. There is no way around the activation lock. Take the phone back to where you bought it and demand a refund.
