can apple fix my MacBook Pro? I dropped it on the ground and the corner is busted.

I dropped my brand new macbookPro and it fell on the corner. Can apple fix this easily?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013), iOS 7.0.4

Does the unit still work properly, and is this just cosmetic damage?

They can replace the case, it will be expensive since it was due to accidental damage. If it works fine and you can live with the cosmetic damage, you want to do that.


Take it in to an Apple store Genius bar, the will evaluate it for free and give you a price for the repair.

Like others have stated, yes, Apple can fix the damage. Being accidental damage, it will cost $$$ to fix it. Even if it looks minor, the way these MacBooks are built leaves -very- little room for something to bend without hitting something else. Take it in for an evaluation and to see if it would be worth it to you to fix it or to let it be (assuming it's working fine, otherwise).
