Recieving multiple Calendar (continuously incrementing)entries on Iphone Calendar and icloud calendar

I am experiencing a very frustraing issue.

I have set my iphone and icloud calendar to be in sync. (ios 7.0.4)

I am not using any other calendars (not syncing with ical)

I keep getting the same calendar entries incrementing upwards. I had 1 calendar entry set up for a sunday and it is now showing 10 of the same calendar entries for the same time and day and appears to be growing. This is happening across most of my entries.

Has anyone experienced this and how do you stop it from happening????
