BGR subpixel order

I just bought a nice new Dell P2314H monitor with an AH-IPS panel. On-screen fonts seemed a little wonky, so I went to the Lagom LCD test site and noticed that the "BGR" sub-pixel demonstration seemed to be the most clear on this display. I then took a close-up photo and, indeed, it seems the subpixels are arranged as BGR, not RGB. This causes subpixel font renedering to be wrong.

On Windoze this would be an easy adjustment, but the Mac gives no such option that I can see. Is there any hope for this?

MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), OS X Mavericks (10.9.1), Dell P2314H

Have you looked at System Preferences/Displays/Color to see if there is an option there?

There's nothing in there (I looked).

I have a feeling I'm screwed on this, because the Macbook's panel is RGB (all Macs are), and I can't find any way to configure the font rendering.

Apparently that display also uses BGR color order, and someone else pointed out the same issue!

The latest beta (10.9.3) has some improvements about 4k screens like Seiki 4k tv, but Seiki has BGR subpixel ordering too, please, please add BGR support.
