Is there a go-around for using older MacOS software on a new iMac

Is there a go-around for using older MacOS software (I have Dreamweaver 2004 and the original Adobe Creative Suite Premium) and recently purchased a new iMac. My bad on not updating the software along the way but I didn't need to because it was all working just fine on the Macs I had until they bit the dust.

I can't afford new software and I have a website that is sitting like a dead duck. Are there any (free) alternatives out there? Up until the computers' ungraceful demise I maintained my website using Dreamweaver (when it was still a Macromedia product).

Your only option to keep using that software is to purchase Parallels ($80) and Snow Leopard Server from Apple ($20). You then install SL Server in the Parallels virtual machine software, and then your older titles. In the end, SL Server runs concurrently with Mountain Lion.

Many users of Freehand MX continue to use that orphaned PowerPC app using the same method (since Adobe's still provides for the Snow Leopard patch for Freehand MX on its website):

Ah, yes. I didn't bother to mention Mavericks since the question was specifically in regards to a Mountain Lion, but it's certainly good information to know the solution applies to more than just ML.

I think he just mis-posted in the Mt. Lion forum; instead of Mavericks, if indeed he recently purchased a new iMac.
