What audio or website?
One site in particlar is http://www.in-memory-of-pets.com. One of my specific pages there is http://www.in-memory-of-pets.com/personaltribute.php?ID=77732. The quicktime logo is at the bottom. It used to work fine before. Thanks for helping me to look into it.

Not a Windows user but I assume the basic problem here is the fact that the souce audio file is MIDI. Not sure how the files should be handled/coded for plaback on Windows browsers but here is a link to the target file URL in case you want to download the file and test how it plays in standalone media players:
Hi Mark, Jon is correct it is .mid file. What I would try on Windows. Open the Quicktime control panel and click on the Browser tab, click on MIME Settings... at the bottom. Expand + Audio-Audio only file formats, and place a check in MIDI.
If this doesn't work for you and you have the latest version of Firefox 26.0. Than go to the Tools menu of Firefox, Add-ons, and make sure QuickTime Plug-in 7.7.4 is activated.
There is also a setting in QuickTime preferences for File Types, related to .mid files. But that would likely be for .mid files that are stored on the hard drive, rather than what you're trying to view online.
Thanks much for the suggestion guys. What has me confused is it used to work fine until 5 days ago. The midi file plays fine "stand alone" and it also works with IE and Google Chrome. My Quicktime Plug-in is activated. When I open the Quicktime control panel, I don't see a browser tab. Thank you very much for your suggestions though.
