Tip: This is how to resize pictures to fit for wallpaper on Iphone

Try this to fix it...

On your iPhone go to your camera roll and tap on the picture you want to use. The picture should appear with white borders around it. Tap it once more and the picture will appear with a black background. Press your home button (the circle key on the bottom of the physical phone) and the power button (on the top right of the physical phone) at the same time. This takes a picture of the screen.

Now you can set your wallpaper with the new picture either by going into settings and choosing the picture etc. or go into your camera roll, choose the new picture and then tap the up arrow with the box icon in blue in the bottom left corner of the screen. There will be two rows of icons, scroll right to left on the bottom set of icons (there are no colours on the icons on that row) and choose the one "use as wallpaper". The picture should fit the screen and you should even be able to scale it bigger... if you wanted it that way.

It worked for me so hope it works for you!
