Storeagent: multibyte ASN1 identifiers are not supported

Hi

The last day or so my system.log is filling up with

storeagent[965]: multibyte ASN1 identifiers are not supported.

I dont seem to be having any issues wit the machine at the moment, but I am a bit perplexed that this is no filling my log. It's not just a few times but its continously filling the log.

I'm thinking this could have something to do with the fact that I deleted my iCloud account on the Server, coult this be it?

Thanks

Hi

It's the process involved in the App Store and associated services such as Software Updates for the client OS. There are number of threads regarding it over on the main forum (as well as elsewhere) of which these are just a few:

Hi

I don't think these recent threads apply to you although they might?

I've seen reports of something similar for the Mail App. If this is not a stock install and you're running 3rd-party software that may not have been tested for Mavericks then the problem may lie there? If it was me I would use the split-half-search method to disable/remove anything that is not part of the original OS and troubleshoot from there.
