My Macbook air arrived yesterday damaged. I tried the 1800 - MY- APPLE and the 1800-676-2775 numbers but they said phone back between 8.00am and 8.00pm....well it is 9.00am here in the east in Toronto and no help yet. I tried the USA numbers and the same reply.
Help would be appreciated.

alan7 - there is absolutely no point calling AppleCare in the USA as they cannot help you anyway. You must deal with Apple in Canada - service and support is not international, but is native to each country.
If the 800-692-7753 number is not picking up, try calling the nearest AppleStore (there are four in the Toronto area, so I don't know which one is closest for you).
