Why do my voice memos ignore headphones mode? All other audio plays through my headphones properly when they're plugged in. It's very inconvenient to be unable to review notes, lectures, etc. over headphones. Please help! 😕

Using iPhone SE (iOS 11.0.2), when I open Voice Memos, the speaker icon is white (OFF). With my earbuds plugged in, as soon as I press the play button, the icon toggles to blue (ON) and the memo is played aloud (and loudly) for everyone in earshot to hear. Ideas, anyone?
I ran into this problem too. Go the upper right hand corner. There you should see a speaker icon, touch this and it will toggle the sound from your iphone speakers to your headphone speakers.
