Apple mouse does not work. Batteries are installed, green light flashes twice and computer recognizes the device. Any ideas?

New batteries in mouse, green light flashes twice, computer recognizes device. But it still doenst work, any ideas?

Try resetting the PRAM and SMC.

In the menu bar at the top right of the screen, open the 'Bluetooth' icon.

Under 'Devices', if it says "Connect", then click on it to connect your mouse.
