HDMI from mac to tv support
I have connected my hdmi lead both to my mac book pro and my tv and still nothing is being displayed on my tv monitor. can someone help me with this please desperate times 😟

It sounds like you're using video mirroring with your TV as a secondary display to your MacBook Pro. If you haven't already, just to be sure it's set up correctly I would check this article out (specifically, I would concentrate on the section towards the bottom titled Video Mirroring):
