So I went in to File-Update projects and Events, than I selected Update All, but it said it could not find any projects or events to update. So I did the same thing except this time I selected "Locate" hoping I could do it manually. Unfortunately it wouldn't let me select anything. Does anyone have any Idea's as to why I can't update my projects and events to the new "libraries" on FCPX 10.1?
Please specify exactly where the projects and events to be updated are located.
It looks like they are in "Macintosh HD Old Final Cut Projects and Events" Located in "Movies" portion of my hardrive.
Actually, I think I just figured it out. I went to file "Open projects and events". And that transfered everything Haha! I feel like an idiot, but it worked. Thanks for taking the time to look at my question!
Just tried the same thing: File/Open Library/Macintosh HD' projects and events ... and it seems to work. Is it me, or this is complicated for nothing. But thanks for the tip.
Can't Update Events and Projects to be read on 10.1.
