Error updating credit card information.

I'm trying to add my credit card info in the payment area of iTunes after using my iTunes card. I keep Getting a error stating to contact itunes support. There's no issue with my bank card as I've used it many times before and there is plenty of money in the bank. Anyone have any ideas how to do this myself.

In the past I've spoken with iTunes via IM but I don't see that option anymore, and they would just add the card for me and it would be taken care of.
