Hi. Bought new MBA today and it says I can use Migration Assistant to transfer my files etc from iPad 2 (up to date on IOS), but can't find Migration Assistant on it or where/if I can download it.

Unless something has radically changed since I last used it, Migration Assistant is a tool for moving your data, applications and settings from one Mac to another. Where did you see that it said you could transfer from an iPad?
