this happened all of a sudden. i suspect mischief. my macbook connects to the internet just fine, if wired. i could do a factory reset and start all over again. is there an easier way to fix the problem? I am using Airport Time Capsule. thanks.

If you have not already performed a complete power cycle of your network, now would be a very good time to do this.

Power off all network devices.....in any order that you want. To power off the Time Capsule, you will need to pull the power cord from the back of the device.

Leave everything powered off a few minutes

Then, start the modem and let it run 2-3 minutes

Then, start the Time Capsule and let it run a full minute

Keep starting devices one at a time the same way until the entire network is back up

Test the network.
