transfer my iTunes library from my iPhone 4 macBook Pro

I need to transfer my iTunes library including my playlists from my iPhone 4 to my new macBook Pro but so I can sync a new CD to my phone without losing all my existing songs and playlists. Any suggestions?

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1
