VirtualBox_Uninstall.tool can't be opened

Hi,

I'm trying to uninstall VirtualBox on my MacBook Pro OS X using "VirtualBox_Uninstall.tool" and it's giving me an error. I drag the tool on my desktop and double click it and below is the error message:

"VirtualBox_Uninstall.tool" can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.

Google Chrome downloaded this file yesterdfay at 2:09 PM from www.oracle.com.

Any help is very much appreciated. I'm not a tech savvy but I'm not a tech illiterate either.

Good that it's working. As for your original quesiton, that's Gatekeeper. (Oracle isn't signing their apps, or the signatire got corrupted? Interesting.) If you run into this again, you can override Gatekeeper by control-clicking on the file to open it. More details.

@MrHoffman --> I tried control-click on the file to open it and that didnt' work. It still gave me the same error message. That was from the previous night when I gave up on it, for whatever reason, the following day when I started working on it, I was able to remove the machine from the Manager icon.

For whatever reason the Remove Machine option under the Manager icon is displayed today. I was able to delete the virtual machine I created yesterday.
