Q: iPhone 4  NUC

I have an iPhone4, I'V just upgraded to iPhone 5s and want to give my dad my iPhone 4.  This phone is locked to vodafone , I  filled in the NUC form online, as I upgraded via carphone warehouse vodafone can not process my request. How can I get my NUC code??

    Only the carrier an iPhone was sold as carrier locked with can officially unlock the iPhone, or send the unlock request to Apple on the owner's behalf. It is my understanding that iPhones sold via Carphone Warehouse are carrier locked with the carrier the iPhone is first actviated with.

    There is no code to obtain.

    If the carrier the device is locked to offers unlocking and you qualify, once they process the unlock request they will notify the user.  At that point, the phone must be restored via iTunes and it will be unlocked.
