If I have 2X 4 gb (original) ram and then I put in 2X 4gb Crucial ram would the imac be able to support that? (mid 2011 imac)

Hey I have a mid 2011 21.5 inch imac and i have 8 gb already installed on this (2X 4gb sticks)

I then have 8gb Crucial ram (2X 4gb) Here's my ram http://www.amazon.co.uk/Crucial-memory-PC3-12800-1600MHz-Macbook/dp/B008MALNHE

Would I be able to put those 2 sticks in my imac without breaking it?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

No, those modules are wrong for your Mid 2011 iMac.

see > iMac (Mid 2011): Memory specifications

You need PC3-10600 1333 MHz modules.
