Does fire pro D300 support mini display port to dual link-adapter?

So I got my new Mac Pro 3.7 Ghz Quad-Core Intel Xeon E5 and to connect my Apple 30 cinema HD display I bought

a mini display to DVI adapter, as suggested on apple own website, except it turn out it that connection

doesn't support the full resolution capacity of the Apple cinema HD, so I looked again and I found another suggestion explaining

why that happens.

I need a Mini Display port to dual link-adapter.

Now before I buy this adapter does my computer graphic card support it, aka does the

AMD Fire Pro D300 support Dual link-adapter connectivity?

AMD website doesn't even list the graphic card and so far I have made a hole in the water with google search.

Thanks!!!!

I hope you guys can help me, I am starting to seriously think of returning this computer,

it doesn't even look that cute once all the cables are hooked in the back, and the speed is

just slightly better then my 2010 Mac Pro.

Mac Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

Thanks everybody for the input,

The hatter I had read all the apple links about minport-DVI-adapter and so on,

but thank you for taking the time to list them

I really appreciate the effort, thanks!!!

Diesel after your reply I went to the Apple store in Manhattan and bought the dual link and Yes!!!

It works fine.

Grant Bennet, thank for the tip, the trik was to plug the USB from the cinema HD to the adapter and then

the USB to the adapter in to the Mac Pro.
