iTunes installer won`t download from Apple.com/ca with Firefox 26

Brand new computer (desktop HP)

new install Windows 7 Pro (64bits)

Removed Bonjour, only Apple software installed, as recommended on one site

Firefox26, Adblock

Avast free

From iTunes site, unselected news etc, no e-mail entered , clicked [Download Now] icon

Windows [iTunes64SetUp.exe] opens, selected Save, destination folder selected, but no download happens.

Solution:

1. Run Windows update, reboot as recommanded on this forum. Try with Firefox 26, won`t download

2. Use Windows Internet Explorer

3. Type e-mail address for apple account, Unchecked the ticks if you don`t want the news etc.

4. iTunes64Setup.exe download.

Closed Internet Explorer.

Try again with Firefox 26 and it download now.

Doesn`t have the e-mail box anymore?
