Q: Phantom Sent Emails

Hi! I'm having issues with the email on my iPhone 4s…my phone says I have 935 unread emails in my sent folder, but I've deleted everything from my email servers and on my phone and removed the email accounts from my phone and then reloaded them, but the phantom sent emails are still there! How can I get rid of them? It's wasting much needed space on my phone! Thank you.

You may need to force close all open apps on your iPhone, then restart the device.

That didn't work. I've had 1312 phantom sent email since the upgrade to iOS7 on my iPad. I've tried everything. Uninstalling and reinstalling the account did get rid of most of the 5 GB that were in this phantom world but didn't reset the counter. Any suggestions.
