iPod touch not showing all previously purchased in iCloud.

I have a new ipod touch (ios 7). I can see some of the previously purchased TV shows as icloud that I can download or stream, but not all (for example the 2004 Samantha Brown TV shows aren't there, but the newer ones are). If I go to iTunes to pull up the episodes I'm missing, they show available for purchase...but I already own them so I don't want to putchase again. I know I can probably sync the ipod to my computer and put the episides on manually, but it's odd that not all are there (and I may just want streaming access). Not sure if I'm missing any music (the TV shows are more obvious because there are leas of them). It's not just that show, others are missing as well.
