Q: Kid is 15, doesn't need access to my credit card!

My kid just bought songs on my iTunes account, I think he needs his own account that's not linked to my credit card, he's 15. Help please, how an I set up his account and he won't lose the music he's bought?

Have him create and use his own Apple ID.

Music purchased using a particular Apple ID cannot be transferred to another Apple ID. If you want to transfer your Apple ID and its purchase history to your son you can do that by changing the name and personal details associated with that Apple ID. You would then need to create a new one for yourself.

If you wish you can create an "allowance" to be used for purchases.
