Has anyone ever used hydrogen peroxide to fix a stuck home button? What about 70% rubbing alcohol? Does 70% rubbing alcohol have too much water and has it done any further damage to anybody's ipod?

I would not use any chemicals on the device. Any of that moisture gets inside it could kill your device.
Is your iPod still under warranty? If so, you might take it into your local apple store.

Goggled it I see people report using one drop for alcohol and hydrogen peroxide, and it may well work, BUT, I don't think I would use any liquid to un-stick the button, sounds like a disaster in the making. did something get spilled on it? Can you see anything that you could wipe away? have you tried pressing the button several times to un-stick it? Before using liquid cleaners I would contact the Apple Genius Bar and go with there recommendations. Good luck.
