Depending on what version OS X your MacBook has installed, and what MacBook you have this could vary, there are several Safari browser versions. Some are available for download via the Mac App store if your computer is running OS X 10.6.8 or Later...

There are links to look into downloading certain older Safari versions in the above page.

Is only the icon in the Dock missing, or is the application gone from the Applications folder? If there is one in the Applications folder, just drag it into the Dock to restore an icon access there.

Hopefully this helps.

Good luck & happy computing! 🙂

To get safari back you first have to download the mavericks installer in the mac app store so you download Mac OS X Mavericks again and when it tells you to download the installer click yes then write down a list of your programs and then go into the installer and press install. I havent tried this myself so i hope this helps.

The answer is in the Support database.

Since no OS X version was mentioned

no direct answer was given, but IF you

have Mavericks, see previous link given

and note they say it here:

•How to install Safari 7:

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6104

Note link to OS X Support page in left

side bottom margin, as reference to

more information about how this works.

{Sorry to not notice this was a recent

reply to a January 2014 thread. Part

of the reason I unsubscribe to these.}

Good luck! 🙂
