I keep getting this message "iMovie quit unexpectedly while using the RazerAudio Plug-In" every time I try to open iMovie. I have opened it before and it works randomly but most of the time I get this message. I just bought my Macbook Pro and have all the latest software and updates...any help would be much appreciated.

What is the 'RazerAudio plug-in'?
I wasn't sure what it was. I thought it may have had something to do with my razor gaming mouse so I uninstalled that software and it seems to have fixed the issue. iMovie still randomly quits unexpectedly sometimes but it runs smoothly for the most part now.

It's caused by the Razer gaming mouse audio plugin. No need to completely uninstall it, you just have to remove the offending plugin.
Go to
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL/RazerAudio.plugin/Contents/MacOS/RazerAudio
That should fix it.
I had the exact same problem but I figured it out.
1. You must go to the top left of your computer when you have nothing opened and click Go.
2. Go to Computer and click it.
3. Then go on to Macintosh HD (I don't know if that is the same for everyone)
4. Click Library
5. Click Audio
6. Click Plug-Ins
7. Look through all the folders until you find RazerKraken7.1Audio.plugin (again I'm not sure if that is for everyone)
8. Move it into Trash
9. Check that iMovie works
