screen is stuck in zoom mode and moves with mouse!

My screen seems to be stuck in zoom mode (it is enlarged and doesn't fit the whole window on the screen) and when i move the mouse the screen moves in the direction of the mouse. I've tried to restart, and then shut down completely but that didn't help. I'm not sure what shortcut key combination caused this, but it is annoying and would appreciate any advice! thanks!
