Proxy Wifi slow downloads on iTunes

My university have a WEP wifi connection with proxy. I can download anything from that wifi connection. But when I try to download iTunes U course videos from iTunes it is very slow. But all other downloads are very fast. I configured proxy address correctly also. How can I fix this problem??
