Mid 2009 MBP 13" Dim green magsafe light now nothing!!

Hi All.

I have had my MBP from new since 2009 and as the title states its a 13" Mid 2009 model (Intel 2.26 Core duo).

Its run like a dream for these past years but this week i noticed that it was VERY slow to charge (Overnight only boosted hte percentage charge about 30%).

The Magsafe connector (T shape) has a dim green light on it which is unusual.

I have tried cleaning the magsave (both cable and MBP end). SMC reset, Battery disconnect. None of this has worked.

Could it be the power supply failing?

Any help would be appreciated as i desperatly dont want my beloved MBP to be dying!

If you pull up the System Information>Hardware>Power>Battery information, what does it show? Mine, for instance, is:

Interestingly i have had my MBP on charge all day and the percentage of charge has dropped 2% (Closed but on) and normally the charger/PSU is warm...Its now stone cold so i would think its this... I hope so. I have just ordered a replacement in the hope that its this.
