How do I change my app store download sign-in from amazon.co.uk to amazon.com? I need to update my apps and I cannot do that with the co.uk as my assigned website.

I'm sorry but what does the Amazon site have to do with the App Store that you need to use? You download and update apps from the App Store. Apps from Amazon won't run on an iPad. If you "shop" in two different iStores and need to change to another store...l
Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Apple ID
Tap your ID
Tap View Apple ID
Enter your password
Go to country/region in the popup window to change the store
