Q: AirPlay only selected program or safari tab

When using AirPlay to stream a show on my mac book to my apple tv, is there a way to stream just the video to apple tv but still be able to use my computer? Basically I want to be able to have the show playing full screen and still be able to use another. Not sure if this is possible or not.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013), iOS 7.0.4

Hello DanParker20

If you are using OS X Mavericks installed, you can use your Apple TV as the second screen and use one to play or stream what you want and then work on the screen of your MacBook Pro.
