Q: Bootcamp via USB?

I need a few things clarified.

I'm using the USB at this moment to install windows 7 via Bootcamp.

Is it possible to reformat the USB back to normal so I can't use it as before? Or do I need the USB all the time while using my Windows partition?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

Hello halfam

If you are using the USB for the installation portion and support drivers, once installed you can reformat it back to the way you used it before.
