unable to synch Notes between iPhone and MacBook Pro

HI

Cannot get these to synchronize Have ensured that iCloud is on and have backed up iPhone to Macbook Pro but the "Notes" do not synchronize.

Any suggestionsplease?

Notes sync is turned on right?

Can you view your iPhone notes online at iCloud.com?

Sign out/sign in to iCloud on your Mac.
