How do I delete my own birthday date?

I have the same question. I tried editing my birthdate from my own contact on my iPhone but it wouldn't let me. My calendar shows all of my Facebook contacts w their birthdays and ages. My facebook profile is set not to show my birth year. It's one thing to delete this calendar but I just don't want my own birthday to show on other people's.

Ideas?

FB and security should never be used in the same sentence.

Have you never edited a contact?

Select Edit for your contact info followed by selecting the red button next to your birthday entry. Select Done when finished.
