Mail stored on computer launches Outlook not Mail

I use Mac Mail and put copies of some emails in folders on my mac (within the project folder). When I click on the email from the folder on the desktop or the hard drive, it launches Outlook to read them, even though I don't use Outlook anymore and didn't receive them (or write them) in Outlook. Is there a way to change this so that they launch Mail instead? Thanks.
