Q: my wifes new i phone is using more data that the iphone 4 did and its coosting us more money each month

My wife just got a new iphone 5c and it is using data when she is sleeping and costing us more money on the data plan. Her iphone 4 never used this much data ever. She has not changed her habbits still using facebook, and weater but she is using 3 times as much data now. Can any one tell me what to do to stop this? Or what is going on to make this happen?

She should plug in to the wall power charger over the night.
Wi-Fi is switched OFF when iPhone sleeps, so all updates use cellular data.

You can check Settings > Cellular > Use cellular data for: to see which apps are using cellular data and how much they have used since you last reset the statistics. It also gives details of system services which use cellular data.
