No Sim/ Invalid Sim

I stepped on my iphone 4s and pressed some buttons and now its says my sim is invalid or no sim only giving me SOS. I've tried turning phone on and off, reinserting sim, pressing airplane mode on and off, reset network setting and nothing works. I also cant get a new sim as my carrier woolworths does not sell them any more. Help much appreciated
