In the latest (horrible) version of Pages, how can I write text that curves around rather than having to be flat? I have a large number 7 that is an inserted picture and I would like to be able to write along the shape of the number 7.

I'm not sure if you're asking about Pages for iOS or for the Mac. So here is a Mac-version answer.
Pages doesn't have the ability to do it automatically, but you could do it manually with individual text boxes. The easiest way would be to use Art Text 2 by Belight Software to create the image & then insert it into Pages. There is a free "lite" version available in the Mac App Store.
