The Apple store replaced my faulty BT keyboard but FAILED:
- to ask if my Mac had an admin password (it does, of course),
- to provide either a wired keyboard so that I could enter my password so as to pair my new keyboard,
- or even to warn me that this might be an issue.
A room full of monkeys would be more helpful than the so often misnamed "expert bar".
It is a 45 mile round trip to the Apple store.
So much for Apple being environmentally conscious. Or even a little bit aware.
