I cant send any SMS texts. I can send iMessages and MMS (pictures), so when i want to text a non-iphone user i have to text, let it fail to deliver, then take a screenshot of this and send screenshot pic to the person.
Check with your carrier. SMS is a carrier function. I'm guessing that you have a texting plan as part of your account?
Couldn't send a text message to a non iPhone. The sym card had been cut down to mini size. The phone worked OK. Removed the sym, repositioned it slightly, put it back in SMS/text is working
Manual cutting of a SIM is always a risk, as you have witnessed. It is best to get a SIM directly from your carrier that is designed for your particular model of the phone. That eliminates these types of problems.
