Expose not working

Please help, i've come from Snow Leopard and now having trouble with Expose..!

Having watched some vids on YouTube, the obligatory three finger down swipe should bring up several windows that are within your App Expose. I get that OK... eg, your in Safari and your eight webpages are displayed in an overview... however not on my MBA 2009, I just get one active window in Expose!

I'm so confused, and i've not minimised any windows, other than that i'm happy with Mavericks. Thank you in advance, and would greatly appreciate if you explain how can I see multiply pages in Expose?
