My set up
Xserve 3,1/10.6.8 Server/18go ram/3x 2TO AppleRaid Card/Services AFP,SMB, OD, VPN
I need to add some storage space to the Xserve.
I could buy the Promise H4946LL/A Vtrak X30 Series 3U 16-Bay Dual-Controller 16X2TB SATA APPLE for +/- 19K
Or I could buy the Promise VTE630FDNX (No drives) and had those HD. +/- 10K
Add 8X4TB SATA for 3600$
Total: +/- 14K for 32TO and I still have 8 free hard drive bay for the futur
So did anybody ever setup Promise VTE630FDNX with a Xserve 3,1/10.6.8 Server/Atto Celerity FC-84EN ?
