Cropping RAW images in Olympus cameras

Most new Oly cameras can crop internally to various aspect ratios. The sensor is 4:3. Supposedly, the RAW image shows the full sensor, which in Lightroom can be recropped to a differnt ratio from the full sensor. I can't seem to do this in Aperture. Example: crop 16:9 in camera. Recover the full 4:3 in Aperture. Any suggestions?

The suggestion of sending feedback is a good one because the issue has been around for some time and I find it strange it hasn't been addressed yet (I made sure I only shot 4:3 after I discovered the issue).

There is a work around, on my OM-D EM-5 I used Phil Harvey's Exiftool to change the offending tags in the raw file using the following command line:

exiftool -AspectRatio="4:3" -AspectFrame="0 0 4607 3455" {filename}.ORF

After this (and repocessing the file in Aperture) the image is shown back at its full 4:3 size.
